Andrea Walker is your 2008 Miss Kentucky Teen America!  She is the 18 year old daughter of Lindsay Walker and the Late Steven Roy Walker of Wilmore.  

For talent competition Andrea performed a vocal rendition of, “In His Eyes” from the Broadway Musical Jeckyll and Hyde.  In addition to the winning the overall title Andrea was also voted “Miss Congeniality” by the other contestants. 

With the crown also came a cash prize, Cosmo Modeling Photo Shoot, and numerous other prizes.  In addition to the prize package and prestige that comes with the title, Walker will be representing Kentucky at the national Miss Teen America Pageant this summer. 

Andrea is a senior at West Jessamine High School where she is active in numerous clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities.  After graduation Andrea plans to attend college at Western Kentucky University and pursue a double major in Broadcast Communications and Vocal Performance. 

As a state titleholder, Andrea will enjoy a year of making appearances across the state of Kentucky.  She will also volunteer and work with community service projects in the Central Kentucky area and promote her issue of concern of increasing awareness and encouraging organ and tissue donation.
